"Dreaming, not driven," said Ona on Lopez Island. Perhaps we take that to heart in that we are not driven to travel north in such a fast pace this year. Stopping at the many lovely places on the way north and relishing them for a bit longer. The fishing vessel, "Ambitious" from the Native Village of Fort Rupert has promised us a tour of their village and a "sockeye with our name on it." We have never gone there. The village is just south of Port Hardy on the northern inside of Vancouver Island.
